Maryborough Neighbourhood Renewal Survey CRIC was pleased to be successful in their tender to the Central Goldfields Shire to conduct the baseline evaluation of the Maryborough Neighbourhood Renewal project. The purpose of the evaluation process is to primarily assess whether the initiative has narrowed the gap between Neighbourhood Renewal areas and the rest of the State. In addition, the evaluation process will provide information to government, service providers, local communities and other stakeholders about what works and what doesn’t in Neighbourhood Renewal. The first round of data collection is intended to achieve several purposes, namely to provide: - social and demographic data about residents within the Renewal area
- comparative data for identifying similarities and differences in experiences and attitudes of individuals residing within the Neighbourhood Renewal area and surrounding neighbourhoods
- formative data to assist the Renewal steering committees and teams in strategic and operational planning activities
